National Youth Day 2017

"National Youth Day" ; A day celebrated to remember the works of Swami Vivekanand. A day to motivate the youth of nation towards their duty and towards the country. LPCPS celebrated the National Youth Day, where a short film was shown to the students to throw light on the life of Great Swami Vivekanand. Students were also informed about digital payments; a step towards cashless society.

Presentation by Dr. Ashish Kaushal on Currency Derivatives for the BBA, B. Com (Hons.) & BCA final year students, Regarding their placement drive for the Karvy Group for Currency Dealer Profile and also for BBA IV Sem students for their internship.

Convocation 2017

Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organized a mega event #Convocation 2017. Degrees were awarded to students by Prof. Surendra Pratap Singh, Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow. Rashtriya Job Festival 2019

Lucknow Public College Of Professional Studies has organized a Job Fair under the theme “Rashtriya Job Festival 2019”. The Job Fair, which will bring together experienced professionals and Freshers under one roof. Previous year over 4000 registrations were seeked and over 520 placements were given in the RJF. So this year again, On 23rd and 24th of February 2019 the placements will be held at the campus of Lucknow Public College Professional Studies, Gomti Nagar.

Orientation Ceremony is a beautiful start for welcoming new members to the #LPCPS family. Just like every year, this year also #LPCPS organized an amazing Orientation programme in the college campus. Short Film Festival

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has organized a Short Film Festival cum Documentary Presentation. In it the students of BAJMC 5th semester have presented around 10 films based on different issues. Chief Guests were Dr. Mukul Shrivastava , (HOD, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Lucknow) and Mr. Varun Tamta, (Actor, Director and Theatre Artist).

Debate Competition

Tourism always gives pleasure, if not arrival, then departure! On the instance of World Tourism Day, LPCPS organized a debate competition on the topic -"Scope of Tourism in India", purposely to raise awareness on the role of tourism and its effects. Students actively took part in it. The partakers vibrantly put forward their views and ideas on the opportunities and challenges of tourism in India. Honorary doctorate to LPS founder Mr SP Singh A visionary educationist Hon'ble Mr SP Singh who is the founder manager of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges and former Member of the Legislative Council Uttar Pradesh was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Swahili , Panama, Central America by Dr Jagannath Patnaik,Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University in a grand convocation ceremony organized today on 19 th October 2019 at Taj Vivanta,Panaji,Goa. In the same event Mr S P Singh was given away the Award for Professional excellence in quality education by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Research Center.These honours have been conferred upon him for his special contribution in the field of quality education. Faculty Development and Research Promotion Program

As a part of Faculty Development and Research Promotion, LPCPS organized a lecture on Astronomy and Astrophysics by Prof. Ram Sagar, Scientist and Founder Director of Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, Nainital and Prof. Alka Mishra, Assistant Prof. at University of Lucknow.

LENS VIEW: THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication ,LPCPS has organized LENS VIEW: THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION in order to promote the photography skills and enhance the view point of the students. The entries were judged by Mr. Sandeep Rastogi, senior photojournalist Navbharat Times. The winning entries are as follows- 1- For the 1st position there is a tie between Aman Anand of BBA and Naimish Mishra of BAJMC 2- For the second position it is again a tie between Paritosh Pal of BAJMC and Chandan Manglani of BBA 3- Third position is a clear win of Omvesh Upadhyay of BAJMC So as announced earlier the official entry for XENIUM 4.0 in photography competition will be the 1st position holders. Congratulations to all the participants and rank holders. You all did such a great job that it was a tough task to decide the ranks. Kudos to all the efforts.

Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony was heldon 19 Oct 2021 for the academic year 2021-22 where the students prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the institution. The new members of the Student Council were honoured with their respective badges by respected Dean Sir and teachers. All the members of the Student Council took a pledge and expressed their commitment to work for and with their fellow students to take the college to new heights in academics and other fields. Seminar on Digital Marketing

LPCPS held a Seminar on Digital Marketing on 11 Oct 2021. Where students were made aware about the rise of Digital Marketing and its importance. They also discussed about web designing and why it is a good career choice and also encouraged interested students to pursue these fields.

Orientation Programme

LPCPS organized the Orientation Programme for the freshers on 20th October, 2021. This programme was aimed at familiarizing the students to an unknown campus environment, its faculties, its infrastructure and helped them in getting socially integrated with the college culture. Attending Orientation enabled the new students to make important connections with the collegiate environment, academic studies, peers and network with the campus community.
