National Sports Day is marked for the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand- India's best hockey player. This day is recognised for highlighting and honouring the achievements and contributions of Chand towards sports as well as India, celebrating the laurels he brought for us. Leaving everyone spellbound with his leadership skills, he was also known as 'The Wizard' for all the magic he spread once he was on ground.
